Protein cookie dough bites

These protein cookie dough bites are super easy to make and make a great pre-workout or general snack, as well as a delicious post-dinner pud!

Sweet tooth satisfying, delicious & nutritious!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder

  • 1/3 cup flour (Courtney used coconut flour)

  • 1 tbsp smooth nut butter

  • 1/4 cup milk or dark chocolate chip

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 3 tbsp milk (I used oat)

  • For the coating—> 80g chocolate of choice (I used diary milk- Courtney used 70% dark chocolate)

Methods:

1. Melt chocolate in bowl over a pan. Place a plate you will put the bites on in the freezer (to try stop the chocolate from spreading)

2. In a mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl add the honey, nut butter and vanilla

3. Add mic together with the dry and 3 tbsp milk and mix well. Once it starts to form a dough use your hands.

4. If the mixture is too dry add milk slowly. If it is too runny then add more flour.

5. Then once the right consistency, start rolling into 10-14 balls.

6. Remove the plate from the freezer and the melted chocolate from the heat. Using two forks, coat each truffle in chocolate and transfer to the frozen plate. Once all the truffles are coated. Place into the fridge/freezer to set for at least 60 minutes.
